NFMFT PRODUCT COMPETITION COMES TO FOODEX
The Federation will be holding a one day National Products Competition at Foodex on Sunday 25th March 2012 and are delighted once again to be working in association with Exhibition organisers William Reed.
This is a great opportunity to show what you can do and we never cease to be amazed at the creative flair of competitors and the array and combination of flavours on offer.
The competition consists of 11 categories ranging from sausages and burgers through to ready meals and pies. All categories will be judged live on the day and awards of Gold, Silver and Bronze will be issued for products achieving the required standard. Additionally, trophies will be awarded to each of the category winners plus a further trophy will be presented to the competitor deemed to be the Supreme Champion of the day.
These competitions are open to all independent butchers, farm shops and food processors and have always proved to be very popular. Success in these competitions have provided entrants with a great opportunity to showcase their products and reap the rewards of local publicity to stimulate sales from customers both old and new.
